Just wishing everyone an awesome Christmas.
Hopefully some of you guys are having better luck at the whole "white Christmas" thing than I am (although, to be honest, I'm not sure if I want to be snowed-in this year).
I actually wanted to get some holiday spirit in with a deviation, but due to my computer being rebuilt, I've hardly had the time to get around to painting. 8| Apparently my scanner won't work now either because there isn't a driver for it on Windows 7 yet, but I'll find a way to work around it somehow. Better late than never right?
Now go drink some eggnog or something. C:

:: Otakon Artist Alley
Oh hey look I'm posting a journal entry here for once because Livejournal is just having issues left and right seriously mods, what is going on
Those who have been following my submissions lately know I'm tabling this year at Otakon, so I'll keep this short.
Here's a map of part of the AA at Otakon. My table partner, 2-Jun (https://www.deviantart.com/2-jun) and I are at B05 where that red square is. We're pretty close to the entrance, so we shouldn't be that hard to find. To anyone who's going, I hope you'll stop by!
:: Unintentional Art Theft???
So last weekend I was home just chilling and abusing the hell out of my Japanese PS2 when lesslovingangel (https://www.deviantart.com/lesslovingangel) called me with some rather interesting news that nearly made me have a spit-take.
She had picked up this free newspaper that was lying around at the Japanese restaurant she went to that day and found my Children's Day picture I painted nearly a year ago.
Some scans of the newspaper clippings can be seen here and here.
I was more surprised than I was angry, and honestly, I'm still not quite sure what to think of this. Considering I painted it for school purposes, I never intended to put a watermark on it. It still bugs me that I w
:: Livestream?
Should I get one/would anyone actually be interested to see me draw/paint? 8|
:: Geez, what happened? D:
You know, it just occurred to me that I should probably start watching more people. :
No seriously, I think the last time I added anyone new to my watch-list was... I don't even remember anymore. A year? Two years?
Actually, I don't even remember the last time I properly commented on anything either. Sure, I'd comment on something a friend submitted, but other than that I don't really make an effort to expand on anything new. I've just been dead in this place as a whole. *EPIC FACEPALM*
I'm just kind of tired of... not doing anything here. I hardly submit, I hardly reply to the people who actually take the time to comment on my stuff, and

What kind of a scanner is it?
You could always download and burn a Linux CD from [link] , then start your computer with it in the drive and plug in your scanner and see if it recognizes it. I know HP ones are pretty much plug-and-play, and you should be able to use the GIMP to scan your image and then save it to a USB key.
Or you could hijack somebody else's computer, which you've probably already done. >.>
