Kumoricon 08 - Prepare for a LONG-ASS synopsis

Before I say anything else, I owe a MAJOR apology to metalcervidae DDDDDDDX
Arrasrdjlkafjsd I'm so sorry that I couldn't meet up with you.
The day I gave you cell number on msn was when my computer decided to freeze, so my messages never got to you during that hiccup. DDD: So, I'm sorry if it looked like I was ignoring you. *FALLS OVER*

Most of the pictures that were taken were a combination of lesslovingangel, seven-souls, and yours truly. Some other peeps that went with us were Author and DUHface

Day 1

So I finally decided to go to the opening ceremony for once (normally the line is long enough to discourage me) AND I'M GLAD I WENT. It probably helped that I recently got into the Phoenix Wright fandom so everything was just that much better - lots of brownies for boredhorror aka POLLY <3

Also met up with my other hump posts *shot*. popsiclefiend as this delicious Mewtwo. IT GLOWS IF YOU SQUEESE ITS FINGERS
And Sharingan-Girl who was patient enough to be my twin for a day. Even though we had some uhhhh... obvious differences, I still think we were one of the most well-done twins in the con (not like we had much to compare to anyway).

Btw, this picture makes me want to BAWWWWW from how adorable it is~

To be quite honest, we didn't really do much that day -actually let me rephrase that- we COULDN'T really do much that day.
We couldn't walk two feet without getting mauled by hugs or pictures (or both).

... Okay, so the real reason for the epic-faces is because we were drawing a crowd. Which meant a lot of cameras were flashing. Unfortunately, that is what I look like when I don't know which camera I should be facing.
(btw, the reason why our hair looks more brown in some photos is because Oregon's weather was PMSing that day)

Day 2

This day was slightly more eventful. :devpopsiclefiend" and Sharingan-Girl dressed up as nurses from Silent Hall, and because I'm retarded, I forgot to take pictures of them. On the other hand, lesslovingangel and I got into our Loveless cosplays (though she did Haku first).

There was lots and LOTS of hallway dancing that day. Caramel Dansen and Hare Hare Yukai dancing to be exact.

Speaking of dances, the Masquerade Ball was what I looked forward to the most, but unfortunately my Ritsuka couldn't stay that late. We opted for the next best thing: Ballroom practice.
lesslovingangel is one of the best dance partners I've ever had, and she was good experience for practicing as a lead. It also just felt nice to help teach the other couples in general :3
Quite a few people got pictures of us dancing, but unfortunately the lighting inside the con was CRAP. However, lesslovingangel was able to get a nice shot of me in my masquerade mask (okay, technically it was HER mask, but we decided that I could borrow it since it matched with Seimei's outfit): img.photobucket.com/albums/v63…

Next Cosplay Conquests

Hiruma Youichi (Eyeshield 21) - I am going to both hate and love this cosplay to death. Love, because... well, it's Hiruma. Self-explanitory.
Hate, because as easy as his casual wear is to make, his football uniform isn't (and I really, want to do a uniform version as well), Unfortunately, football gear is fucking expensive. I'll probably just make it all, except for the helmet.

Pantera Grimmjow (Bleach) - KITTY! Not only is this costume awesome, but it also gives me a great excuse to act like a feline and run around on all-fours. >3

Maya Fey (Phoenix Wright) or Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece) - These are the "If-I-Have-Time" cosplays.
Maya, because photoshoots would be so much fun as her.
Luffy, because as much as I would love to cosplay Maya, I'm not sure how much money I would have left after Hiruma and Grimmjow drain my wallet.
